Its a great learning experience to work with special children. I worked with an integrated group of kids, teens and twenties. The physically challenged group taught me how to teach them!!!! and they learnt my dance mudras and used them to communicate with me ( talking of hearing impared kids).they were great mimics....as they could not hear the music......the visually impared would touch me or i would have to do that ...either way they learnt and obviouslly would react to music!!!but sense of direction was another story.....
and the slow learners -down syndrome.......let me leave it for another time.....!
